I've lived in Wilmington for 18 years and recently moved to Mount Airy, NC. I taught special education for NHCS for 17 years and now I'm teaching 6th grade Math. I have a wonderful & talented husband and two beautiful children of my own. Photography has been a hobby of mine since high school. I decided to start this business  in 2012 because I love taking pictures, but I became frustrated with family celebrations & not being in any of the pictures. So, I decided to turn a hobby into something more. My idea was, "If you want to enjoy your child’s party without worrying about taking pictures, let me do it for you! You have fun being a part of the celebration, entertaining the guests, & not to mention being in some of the pictures too! I'll capture the memories in pictures."  I started out just photographing birthdays/anniversaries/showers but then got asked to do more and more types of photography. I now photograph engagement, maternity, small weddings, newborn, family, senior pictures, pre-prom, pets, birthday/ anniversaries/showers,  head shots, real estate and even live births. My goal is to be able to provide a fun, enjoyable experience for a great, affordable price.  

I do my best to get the photos to you in 10 days. I do not charge extra for wardrobe changes and I don't have a limit to the number of people in the photoshoot. I'm happy to put pictures on a flash drive for an additional cost of $5 or you provide the flash drive. Otherwise, edited photos will be sent digitally. Real Estate photos are sent via Dropbox or Google Drive.
